Here's an easy and cheap mod that anyone can do.
When I took my TB off for painting, I checked the opening of the throttle
blade to make sure that it opens totally 90 degress so that the blade is
totally parallel to the air flow. Guess what it only opened about 80-85
degrees before the throttle arm hit the stop. There is two choices to make
the TB open for max flow. You can grind away material on the TB stop or
some off the throttle arm. I chose to use my dremel and just take some
off the throttle arm. So how much improvement did it make? No noticeable
improvement but any restriction to air flow will make it easier for the
turbo to pump that air in there. Check out these picks and may the boost
be with you.
